PPUI at the 50 Plus Expo
P.P.U.I. - 18/10/2016 - PPUI to attend the Senior Times 50 Plus Expo at the RDS
The 50 Plus Expo, (formerly The Over 50’s Show) is Ireland’s only dedicated national consumer event for older people. Launched in 1999, the event is now run all over Ireland with 30,000 people and 400 exhibitors attending all of the events in 2015.
The 50 Plus Expo is designed to be an informative, educational and upbeat event for the 1.2 million people who are over 50 in Ireland. It’s ideal for people who are about to retire or already have and want to take up a new hobby or pastime and most importantly, keeping themselves mentally and physically active in their later years.
The PPUI will be using this event as an opportunity to promote the sport of Pitch and Putt and to let people know about clubs in their community. The PPUI have over 100 clubs affiliated to them with more than 7,500 registered members and many more people up and down the country playing the sport. It is an extremely popular sport that caters to all ages from 8 to 88 years of age.
