Bellewstown P & P

Bellewstown P & P club was founded in 1991. It is situated within the area of the Bellewstown Race course. The complex also has a football club adjacent to the club and we work in harmony together for the good of the community and the members of each club.

We had our first Open in 1992 and have enjoyed successful Opens every year since; excluding one year when because of the foot & mouth epidemic we had to cancel our event.
We have played host to many Meath Championships and Leinster events and qualifiers over the years and players have enjoyed the challenges our course has to offer.

Our course has an abundance of trees, shrubs, gorse bushes and a pond. It is a beautifully scenic  course and much work has been done over the years by a dedicated volunteer workforce as well as Community Employment employees. 

The average membership is about one hundred; men, women and children. We run a coaching course for juveniles and this draws about thirty boys and girls each week during July and August. Some of our juvenile members have been very successful in events outside the club and are very enthusiastic about the game.

Our adult members are great supporters of Opens all over Leinster and even further afield, some competing and winning in European events.
